Power Steering Pump Removal

Power Steering Pump Removal
Well something happened to my account... anyways; I own a 2004 Forenza and today after coming back from Suzuki of Wilmington, NC they told me that the Power Steering Pump needed to be replaced. For a nominal fee of haha $620. Soooo.. I told them to shove it. I found one online for $40 used with a lifetime warranty out of a wrecked 04 Forenza. I have found where the pump is by tracing the hose from the resevoir. The question is... how does one go about taking the pump off to put on a different one? Any help would be much appreciated.

RE: Power Steering Pump Removal
The pump is held to the bracket by three bolts (IIRC, 8mm bolts, 12mm hex heads).
You need to remove the serpentine belt, remove the power steering lines, then remove the 3 bolts. The bolts are accessible with a socket wrench through the holes in the pulley. You might have to rotate the pulley to line the hole up with the bolt heads.
Be careful installing the new one. IIRC, the short bolt is fairly easy to strip out if you over tighten it.
