A guy at work just installed a new set of front brake pads on his 02 GV. Its stops fine but after few stops the breaks begin to squeal(metalic squeal, not the tires or school girls)the anitlock light comes on, and he can smell that the breaks are quite hot. The brakes where working fine before, no signs of warped rotors or dragging in the calipers, he just thought he should swap out the pads before the summer got here........Anyone gone through this?

 

are the pads over tight in the pad carrier? hsa he used copperslip on back of pads???
