Fuel Leak

Fuel Leak
Hello to one and all.......
I am pretty new to this so please bear with me.
My wife has a vitara (92, 1.6 hardtop). I know its not a grand vitara but you guys must know how to help!!
It seems to have an intermittent fuel smell coming into the cab. I have hunted high and low to see if there is any visible leak but to no avail.
If you have any ideas then please let me know.
