Low Millage per Galoons

Hi, My Grand Vitara 2002 give me only 12 MPG this is Correct or there is a problem ? please help me.

Yes that is a problem , although I have had 3 Samurai's , and 2 Grand Vitaras and none of them has been known for good gas milage for the relative engine size. My 2006 gets about 20-22 and a Vortec 350 Chevy gets that easy. The new 2006 is completely loaded though and we love it.

That is way to low. You have a problem somewhere. How is the air cleaner, fuel injectors? You should be around the 20-22 range. Red
