88 RM250 carb question
 

Okay, rebuilt carb and went back to factory jets from what was there. Needle jet all the way down, I just put it back to where I removed it. Bike is hard to start but does run, first gear is total dog and second comes alive when im ready to go to third then no problems, she runs like a champ. Am I too much air or fuel, not enough or is needle in wrong position? What does the needle valve push or pull any way. I bought this bike to rebuild and this is my last issue.
