Default Dual Gasser Throttle

Hey Guys. I am the new owner of a new 2013 RM-Z450. So far I am really liking the bike as far as power, handling, looks, and features. Only problem is for the most part I have only ridden Quads and I am having trouble with the twisty throttle. I don't want to completely convert to thumb throttle but I think it would help me until I get used to the handling and power. I have found a product that will give you both options and it's actually pretty cool. It is made by Moose Racing and it is called the dual gasser. You have the ability to "lock out" the option that you are not using which I think is cool. whenever I get comfy with the bike I can lock out the thumb and remove the lever and just use the twisty. ONLY QUESTIONS IS IT SPECIFICALLY STATES THAT IT CAN NOT BE USED ON A THROTTLE WITH A SENSOR. does the 2013 have a sensor in the throttle?
