I have a 2003 PT and I haven't had any problems with it. They have only two recalls on them one is for the stick shift model and the other is for all models and that was to move a power steering hose. They have a great warranty, although I have not had to use it yet. I hope this helps

Default Pt cruiser?

DaimlerChrysler is currently avoiding problems such as excessive Oil consumption that should be covered under warranty, which will usually eventually lead to complete Engine failure. To avoid defective Engine warranty claims, Chrysler sends internal memo to dealers stating that acceptable Oil consumption for Chrysler Engines below 50,000 miles is one quart per 1,000 miles driven!

How many miles is a pt cruiser good for?
I have a standard 2002 pt cruiser and it runs good and is in great condition. It has about 133,000 miles on it. How long will the car last?
