Shifting Issue
 

My son and I have recently joined the MX world. I don't know that much about motorcycles, but I'm learning quickly. I have a lot of experience with the automotive industry, but not much with motorcycles.

I purchased a RM 125 for his starter bike. It's a 98 year model and has been a good bike. Recently it has started giving him trouble. I have not been able to see the issue myself, but will get a chance this weekend. He tells me that it will downshift to neutral after he tries to upshift.

Has anyone experienced this issue? Any help is greatly appreciated.
