Gas filling up air box

Hi guys,
I'm new to the forum and in need of help. My 2004 DRZ 250 is filling up the air box with gas and will not run. I cleaned the carb and replaced the float valve and this has not resolved the issue. Could it have fouled the plug with the filling issue and could it be a valve issue forcing the gas into the air box? Stumped. It's a nice bike but I haven't dealt with the DRZ's before. Is there something I should know? Thanks in advance !!!

I know this was posted a while ago... is this forum very active?

My 02 Bandit 1200S is having the same thing happening... I suspect a float is stuck... I'll rebuild the entire carb... Did you ever fix this problem?
