hey just bought a 07 reno got a ?. it had 30 miles on it when i got it. the car has this smell after drivin it wonderin ifits because its notbroke inyet? it kinda smells like the clutch and brakes together(hope someone knows what im talkin bout ;)). my first suzuki and brand new car thanks

yea its prolly just the brakes breakin in like how when you just put a fresh set of pads on and you slam on the brakes for the first time and they smell bad but if it keeps it up a while from now have em check it out.

I don't know if anyone cares, but my brakes took at least 500 miles to stop pulsating. It started off mild, then got pretty noticeable, then by the 1000 mile mark it was gone for good. Don't forget to have your pads checked at every oil change after about the 10,000 mile mark. You don't really want to have to replace your rotors or calipers if you're on a tight budget..

Each car will vary in the way the brakes smooth out, but that smell is brake dust 99.999% of the time when the car is new.
