Ok, so this is absolutely moronic. When discovering the source of my fuel problem on my bike, I killed the battery so my buddy and I jumped it. Well, I hooked up the termianals on my bike, and he hooked them up on my car (obviously with the cars power off). Well, he reversed the cables on my car, there was a large spark, and blam.........no power at all. I figured it would just blow a fuse, but all the fuses were intact, including the main fuse. How bad did we mess up my bike? Blown ignition? Blown wiring? Any thoughts? I figured by now that bikes would be idiot proof to this kind of stuff......how much do you think this mistake is going to cost me?

 

As similar thing happend to me once with my ZX10R, it turned out there are fuses that are basically hidden. I suggest getting a hold of a wiring schematic for your bike and making damn sure you have found all the fuses before dropping a paycheck on new parts.
