Default Boulevard C50 vs Honda Shadow Aero

In the opinion of you fellows, how does the C50 Boulevard compare to the Honda Shadow Aero 750cc...in performance, fit and finish and quality?
Thanks in advance for any replies or advice.

Regards,
-Ward

I had it narrowed down to these 2 bikes as well. I chose the Boulevard C50 b/c I liked the style better & it also helped that Motorcycle Cruiser magazine rated the C50 as the best in it's class for 2004 (the year I bought).

the Boulevard wins hands down for looks
comfort and performance
i was looking at the 2007 ( white ) shadow but i changed my mind when learnt the bars are unadjustabel

i own a 2007 Suzuki Boulevard 805 (C50) candy apple red & black
i bought it 2nd April 2007 and to today 22nd August 2007 i have just notched up 7000klm
and loved every minute of the rides

I too was down to choosing between these two bikes. I did like the feel of the Aero a little better however when it came to the power plant it was all C50 in my opinion. The C50had 1 more valve per cylinder, fuel injection compared to one carb on the Honda, a60cc bigger motor (the Aero is actually a 745cc) andI believe 10-12or so more horsepower. I do not regret owning the C50. If you read reviews you will see it is a great bike.

My 2 cents,

Jerry O.

i too looked at either bikes then i saw the M50 lol soo that is what i got but i tried the other 2 and id say the c50 as well it didnt feel as big and bulky as the shadow did-dont get me wrong i liked the shadow-but for roughly the same amount of money u get a bigger engine and a bike that handles alittle bit better then the shadow-plus i liked the c50s sound.

hi all i also had a look at a 750 shadow here in Australia and found that the shadow just didnt have thae quality of the Boulevard even the chrome head covers are plastic on the shadow not to mention how much more power the Boulevard has over the Shadow and comfort wise as well
