Changing Spark Plug on C-50

RE: Changing Spark Plug on C-50
It's not hard, remove the seat, remove the speedo, remove the bolt for the tank. Then raise the tank a little to get at the fuel line. You should be able to just disconnect it. you may have a small ammount of gas loss but not much, no need to plug the line. Lift the tank a little more then slide it back to the rear about 1-2" and lift it off the bike. Set it on an old towel or blanket to prevent scratches.

Both are full of great info.....
An 04 with 8,500 and asking about tank removal I'm assuming you have not adjusted the valves or checked them either. The owners manual says to check/adjust the valves at 600, 7,500, 15,000 etc. It made a huge difference in performance in mine when I did them. They were tight from the factory.
