Well I cant say for sure for the C90's but the C50 sounds great, its not rough sounding at idle... Plus I dont see how that would throw timing off anyway..... I've also read on other site from people who have done this, and I've read nothing but good reviews on C50's and C90's alike.... And it runs fantasic, no poppin on decel or anything....hope some of this helps you decide..good luck
Is your bike running lean at all. Or did you re: mapp your bike as well. What I'm wondering is will the fuel injection keep up with that change or NOT. Also your video did not come through do you have a site to go to.
Nope...bike runs just as good as ever. I even rode it back from sturgis to wisconsin with no problems at all. the baffles are actually small and even when their out, its not completely a straight through exaughst. As far as the site, it worked when i click on it.....otherwise you can try goin to www.motorcycle-journal.com ....thats where I found the link...goodluck
I checked & da' video feed still works...
I talked 2 a local mech. and he said due to it being fuel injected it will automaticaly readjust...
I pounded in the little metal piece (have no idea what the H*LL it's called) inside the baffles and it turned up the volume pretty well... sounds nnnniiiiicccceeee
... might not twist out the baffles now...

Just did it to my bike. Sounds pretty good and runs fine. I was surprised at how easy it was. Start to finish, including a spin around the block and clean up, it took less than an hour. Thanks for the info.
I bought some stock pipes from an 01Vol to play with they sound great. I might kill mickey next....I have over 6,000 miles with the baffles out no problems at all.
The debaffleing that was done on the c50 will not work on the C90 because of the way that the baffles are made in the c90- they are not the same.- with more seperator chambers it is diffecult at best.
