I have a 2008 C90. When I bought the bike from a local used dealer they only gave me one key for the ignition. He said that the trade in only came with one key. I also have a 2002 VL1500 to which I have seperate keys for the ignition and the steering lock.

My question is, is the ignition key on the '08 supposed to fit the steering lock also? It does not seem too. If not, how do I obtain a replacement key? The bike is currently in Florida and I'm currently in Virginia, so I can't just walk out and see if the one key fits both at this time.

I called the local Suzuki dealer and the salesman said, "Uh...I think the one key fits both locks...uhh...".

i have the same issue with only the ignition key given to me and nothing for the steering lock...what did you end up doing?

Is there anyway ignition key can be made without the original one or a master key?
