I apologize if this has been asked somewhere else
Hello all. My names Jason and I just bought my first Suzuki ever. I’ve always been a Kawasaki and KTM guy.
I have now entered the late stages of life (32 years old) and decided to get my first comfy bike. For street I’ve always owned zx-10’s.
So I purchased a 2007 Suzuki boulevard c-50 about a month ago. Roughly 30k miles. Pretty clean bike. I have read in multiple forums they are a noisy engine. Which is a little weird to get used to. I just got around to getting it registered and insured. Took it to work on Saturday. Was a glorious ride lows 70s in Las Vegas.
Got back to the bike after work (10 hour day) and went to crank it... massive metallic clunking every rotation. Sounded like a lifter falling off the valve and the valve slamming back not having the rocker there to hold it.
Had to call wife to bring the trusty f150 and bring it home in the bed.
got it home and just for the hell of it tried to start it. Started right up
Any thoughts for me would be amazing.
Thanks
