Default Passing Lamps from Suzuki

I purchased the OEM Light Bar when I bough my new-used 2008 C90T. I installed it according to the directions provided, only to be disappointed when closing up the headlamp assembly to find the lights didn't work. I consulted a gear-head/engineer friend who helped me figure out that the simple wiring instructions (or the bike) had the simple two wires reversed and caused a fuse short. The wiring instructions should have said to insert the wire with the orange tape on it to the same slot where the orange wire enters the connection on the bike. Beware. This is a nice option for the bike, dresses it up and provides additional safety. But they should get the instructions right.
