Ive seen several videos on how to remove the baffles from my 2006 C50T and it doesnt really look that complicated. But Im having second thouhgts about doing this. I dont know if it will effect performance or cause any problems that i might be sorry about. I would really appreciate feedback from anyone who has done this to a C 50T.

I have heard that a lot of guys that do the debaffle are disappointed with the results and end up buying aftermarket pipes. Word is that debaffled pipes tend to have a harsh, tinny sound. After market pipes, on the other hand, are tuned for a particular sound which varies according to manufacturer and model. You might want to find someone near you that has done the debaffle and listen to it before you break out the drill and chisel.

Depending on where you live, you may also want to consider that laws about pipes are tightening up in some states and communities. If you cut up your stock pipes, you won't have a set to to put back on for inspection if you get a ticket. - Rick
