2005 Suzuki M50 Rod bearings
Hey guys I'm looking for some info regarding Rod bearings for my brothers bike. It's a 2005 M50. I know the rod bearings are supposed to be color coded but these aren't. Or I'm looking in the wrong place. The only part numbers on the bearing are FC170 NDC 514L. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You'll find the bearing listed here. I just replaced the crank and one of my rods. You'll find a 1 2 or 3 stamped on the crank as well as the rods. You use the manual to determine which set of bearings match up to your combination of rods and crank. The left and right side can differ.
Use this online manual to figure out the bearing sizes you need for your particular rod/crank combination.

When the bearings are new, there is some color on them, as shown in the manual. But once they run in, the color is gone. You can try to measure them, but I chose to buy new bearings based on the sized needed instead of trying to reuse an old set.
