Default mine too

I bought my 2000 Marauder VZ800 in Oct-2012. It's my first bike. I bought the bike with 1,100 miles on it. I've put over 7,000 miles on it since then! The previous owner put Cobra pipes on it and lowered the idle to give it a lumpier idle sound. I was having the exact same problem that you described. The bike would cut out under hard deceleration, coming hard off the throttle, and in the middle of turns when I'd pull in the throttle. I dealt with it for awhile and then took it to a dealer thinking I needed a carb rebuild. Dealer recommended a carb tune up first and that worked. All they did was do an idle and mixture adjustment. The good news is that it solved the problem. Bad news is that I lost my lumpy idle and I now get regular backfires...guessing it's a little lean??

Hope that helps
