Default M50 vibration

Hi Im a new member and just got back in the saddle on a used 2008 M50 My 1st bike was a 1982 GS850l that I purchased brand new rode it for 10 years then sold it . I find that this M50 has a vibration compaired to the GS850. I realize that the GS850 should be a bit smoother due to the straight 4 as apposed to a vtwin but how much of a difference should there be. The last bike I rode but did not own was a 1200 Harley Sportster and it had a wicked vibration.I went back to Suzuki because of the dependability of my old bike and they also seem more reliable than Harley. Bottom line is should there be any vibration from the M50 and is this a common complaint or am I being too fussy.

I just bought a 2010 M50, little to no vibration so far. The on ly vibration I see is a slight on in the mirrors at certain speeds, otherwise rock solid ride.

i also have a 08 m50 that i got new last year as a leftover, there is a bit of vibration but nothing compared to my old bike (1981 yamaha xs 850). my first bike was a 1978 suzuki gs550 and it had to be the smoothest bike i ever had. i would say the vibration is normal.
