I'd like to get a little more bang than I do from the stock pipes. Is there some reasonable half-measure easier than a root-canal on these pipes? I don't want a lot, and I don't want to start playing with the fuel system; just a bump up in the sound.

Does anybody have a picture of what's inside of these pipes?

 

I just bought a 2009 C90 and would also like a better growl, but don't want straights.
On my old bike (a Honda Shadow), I punched a 1/2" hole in one of the muffler baffle plates and was very pleased with the sound.
Is that an option on the C90 ?
