Default Noise when accelerating

Hi
I have a question for M50 users. I've recently bought 2007 Suzuki Boulevard M50 and I love the bike, but every time when I accelerating rapidly or starting from stop and accelerating, I hear that sound like knocking somewhere on the cylinders heads area (at list that's what I think), when I drive with steady speed it's ok and I don't hear that - is that normal??
I got only 2900 miles on it, I really don't know what to think about it.

I've got 8000mi on my 05and can't say I've heard a knocking from the heads. Have you checked all your nuts and bolts for tightness? I read on this forum or another where a rider kept looking for a couse on his engine noise and it turned out to be a loose panel. If it was the heads, I would think that you would here it all the time. I definitely don't think it's normal. Don't know if this helped.

Hi,

Pre-detonation from bad gas or a timing issue? When was the last time you checked your valve clearances? Or does your bike have hydraulic valves?

Thank you for your indulgence,
