Default 2006 S50 great bike for the $

Just a post on a 2006 S50. I bought one last year, very inexpensively (relative to so many bikes out there), and it's been a great bike for the $. The footprint is small, and the center of gravity is low, yet is has a lot of power for a frame it's size, so it makes it an easier bike for a smaller person to handle and enjoy. My husband had the carbs rebuilt/jetted and it is no longer a "cold" start, at all, and it gets much better gas mileage. When it's warm, it starts right up - no choke. If it's cool, I may have to choke it a little bit, for a half a minute of so. When it's cold outside, it may need some choke for a minute or so. As so many note, the brakes do squeak, though not enough to bother me. Hubby suggested maybe addressing that but I said "no"....the sound takes the place of groove strips and keeps me alert. Very happy with the bike, and my husband has a lot of fun on it when he rides it, due to it's smaller size and responsive throttle (he typically rides much larger bikes).
