Dear All, I am new here and sorry that the first post is a question.
I bought the 2007 s83 new and now has 1,000 miles. The original brake pads squeak badly, so i bug the dealer enough and they replace them with EBC HH pads at around 900 miles. After the replacement, both brakes still squeak and after about 50 miles, the front stopped squeaking, but the rear still does it when I play light pressure on the paddle before the bike goes to complete stop. It does not squeak when hard braking and it does not squeak at a speed higher than 10 miles per hour with the same amount of light pressure.
As far as I know, the sqeak comes from vibration and after checking the outside of the brake assembly, I have found that when I press hard on the bolt that holds the torque arm, it would move slightly in and out. Does this happens to your bike? Thanks in adv!
