Hello,

Start car, drives well for 10 - 15 mins, then engine starts to lose power unless accelerator is pressed. After a few minutes a slight backfire occurs, the Check Engine light flicks on, and then the car drives normally.

The check engine light flashes 47, but I don't see that error code at:

troublecodes.net/suzuki/

 

Hi Bud, code 47 is for the CMP Sensor, which is the camshaft position sensor.
