fast idle

Default fast idle
just bought the wife a 3 door vitara verdi, 1.6. When you start it up and also at idle it seems to be racing, how do I adjust the idle speed for this?

there should be a screw on the throttle body that will adjust it a small amount..

when you say racing, how high is it? does it have a tach?

no tacho installed, but I'd estimate the tickover at around 2000 - 2500 revs. Haven't had it long enough to know how fuel consumption is being affected.
