I notice that the Geo Tracker (2 Dr) 1997 and the Suzuki Sidekick 4 Dr 1997 both carry the 1.6L Non-turbo fuel injection engines. Can one engine be swapped for the other? Which other vehicle has a similar engine that can be put into the Sidekick (JS)? If so, what are the specific changes I would have to make when doing the change over?

 

Not absolutely positive but I'd put money on them both being exactly the same the Tracker is a Suzuki produced by GM
