Default 1978 Suzuki Enduro missing keys.

Hey guys I'm wondering where -if anywhere- the key code is located on an old Enduro. do the older models even have key codes on them or does one key fit most of them, as I've seen on some older vehicles? Its for sale but there are no keys. I want to know if it would be worth my time/money to get a key.
Any help is appreciated!

The key code is on the ignition where you insert the key. There should be a three digit number stamped into the face of the ignition switch right next to the key slot.

There's a guy on Ebay that cuts new keys using the three digit number. I had him do a couple for my 78 TS 250. Both worked fine.
