I have to release the clutch almost all the way out to find the friction point. I'm a new rider and this makes it difficult for me to take off from a stop. I'm also getting the handle bar shortened for me size which I think will help. Is it possible to adjust the clutch on a C50T?

 

Assuming your c50 is like my m50, you can do minor adjustments in the lever play by loosening the lock nut at the base of the leverand turning the cable adjuster. Then retighten the nut. Major adjustments are done at the other end of the cable, it shows how in your manual.
