GS850G rebuild
I am rebuilding a 1981 GS850G and started to wonder if it might be possible to "upgrade" and use the top end (cylinders on up) from a GSX 16 valve model (TSCC) instead of the DOHC that is stock with the GS850. Could the top end of one match up to the crankcase of the other?

Maybe hold onto your 850 motor and strap in an 1100.
I have a 1982 GK, not running, for $600 whole minus bags, trunk and rack. I need the garage space since there are 3 other Suzuki motorcycles there as well.
Will consider parting out as well.
