How often do you have to add oil

Seems like I have to add oil every 150-200 miles on my S83 (2007). Is this normal?

Hi I have '97 gsx600f and I have the same problem. I have talked with my friend about it and he claims that this is normal in that kind of engines. How much oil do U have to add for those 200 miles?
