i just recently bought a 2005 boulevard S40 It had been running fine since I bought a month ago and I had no problems. I finally got my motorcycle endorsement on my license and went to take a first (Legal) ride when the engine sputtered out on me after being stated for about 2-3 minutes warming up. i tried starting again after that and got it to go once for about 10 seconds and it cut out again. After that It would turn over but wouldn't start and after that all I was getting was a clicking sound. I really need help so, Any ideas of where I should start?.

 

did you try switching it to the reserve. I know thats proboly a dumb question but I thought I would ask. The clicking sound you are getting is because you have run down the battery. Start by charging the battery back up.
