Hello. Dim light on 6v gn400 and I know all about grounds and old wiring etc. My problem is this. Battery putting out a touch over 6v like normal. I direct wired the low beam connection from a wire directly from the battery and then it reads like 1.5 volts. Wth is going on here? lol.

again. A wire connected to battery reads normal, but then reads way below normal the second it is attached to low beam wire at the headlight.

is it the headlight that fubar? When riding it intermittently flashes to normal brightness but not for long before it goes back to candlelight power. Really appreciate someone with more electric knowledge than me.

I’m no where near as smart with electrical as you but it would be great if you could find a wiring schematic for that bike some where cause the original wires would have to run through a relay before coming to the head lamp
