Hey guys, thanks for the add. I'm new here and have a couple bikes, a 1983 GR650 Tempter, and a 2004 DRZ125. So the issue I'm having is that I just replaced the shoes on the GR650 and I cant for the life of me get the rear axle spacer on with the axle again. I feel like if I had another set of hands I could force it on but don't think it should take that much force. I've made sure all the bearings are set properly and tried about every combination to get the spacer atleast between the brake housing and the swing arm. I'm stumped.

 

I can't answer your question but I can suggest next time, snap a phone pic of things as you are taking them apart. Maybe you have it going back wrong somewhere and a pic would be a easy reference.
