So a couple of days ago i bought an ap50 from my cousin to travel to and from uni.

Yesterday it was running fine but today (after being left in the rain for the first time overnight) the battery decided to die... so i used to kick start to get it started and it was running ok for a while but 3 miles down the road it started to cut out. now when i throttle it, it just sounds like theres not enough air or sumfin (wheels dont even turn now)

When i got home i realised it was when i pressed the brakes or indicators that it cut off.

The bike has recently had a new battery so could it be the thing thats used to charge it is broken (forgotten the name)? also it may or not be relevant it just passed its mot. Also i checked the plug and it was very clogged up so will go and buy a new one.

So please help me guys as i am stuck without it!

p.s. i am a fairly compotent guy when it comes to mechanics but i am lacking in tools now i am away from home.
