2003 Suzuki GSX-R1000 help

I just got a 2003 Suzuki GSX-R1000 I what to change the engine oil. I what to now the original oil type and shoud I change to motul 10w40 semi Synthetic. Also I install a Yoshimura Oval RS-3 slip-on exhaust. I remove the actuator assembly. and now the check light wen't on. I was toll there a way to remove the check ligth by reprogramming the computer or something like that. Can anyone let me no how to take off the check light.
