I am trying to verify some information and see if anyoine else has heard or knows of this.
Suzuki made 10,000 GSXR 1000's in 2006. These all came stock with 160 horsepower, or thereabouts. However, Suzuki made (1) bike that has 185 horsepower and it is set apart by an 'H' in the VIN number. Has anyone ever heard of this?
This was told to a friend who actually owns this bike when the insurance company raised his premium. when he called the ionsurance comapny, they told him to call DMV for explanation.DMV told him that this is why. He has no tickets or aything to have caused his premium to go up.

I can tell you this, that bike is not an ordinary 1000. He has smoked some serious bikes with it and he has wondered himself why its so fast. He bought it from someone who only rode it a few times and had to sell it so it is in MINT condition and bone stock. However, at bone stock he has killed some Busa's and other bikes that were builtand/or not stock at all.

Any thoughts or knowledge on this is appreciated.
