Is 250GS T in here ? Clutch

Looked in the hayes 250 GS manual and the clutch adjustment mentioned is not on this bike . Just bough barn bike and need to adjust the clutch but can not find it anywhere on the web . Letting out the lever takes forever for engagement to take hold and start to move the bike . There is a rubber plug that opens to a set screw and nut ... but i cant fine any info on it ...
