Default Excesive front brake lever play. 02' GSXR 600.

Hello. I have a 2002 GSXR 600. And it seems like the front brake lever has a substantial amount of play, more than normal i think.(A good 1.5") Anyways, the pads seem fine to me. The other thing i was thinking was maybe there is air in the lines. There is an upright bolt with a rubber cap on the top of each caliper...Is this the way to vent the air?? What is the proper procedure..

Thanks.

GO TO "AUTOZONE" AND RENT THE BRAKE LINE PRESSURE PUMP, CAUSE ITS HARDER TO DO IT BY HAND AND YOU COULD ACTUALLY LET MORE AIR INTO THE BRAKE LINES! BUT GO TO AUTOZONE AND USE THE PUMP IT IS 10 TIMES MORE EASIER THAN THE MANUAL WAY. AND WHEN YOU BLEED THE BRAKES MAKE SURE U KEEP THE RESIVOR FULL!
