Default GSXR 750 or Ninja 636

guys this is my 1st post here and i need your help i am from india and i will be buying a GXR750 or Ninja 636 and i am confused as to which to buy i know they are 2 different segments but the performance figures r not that far away as Ninja produces 136bhp and GSXR 750 churns out 148bhp on a difference of 12bhp i am confused weather to spend more and get the GSXR or get the ninja ? please tell me the pros and cons of both bikes. one more last thing can some one tell many secs does it take to reach 100kmph ?

Ps: as i am from india i have to be very sure of what i am buying cause here the import duty is set @100% and i have to pay double of what every one is paying around the world so i want to be sure that i am buyin. PLZ H3LP

i would absolutly go for the gsxr 750... the bike is better for a new rider.... I personaly think that the gsxr is easier to handle (others will disagree), and the gsxr is harder to lift, which is better for a newbie. the ninja is a bigger (fatter) bike.
and for the extra h/p, i think the 750 is the best bet

I dunno - that is a bit of a weird choice as, like you say, the bikes don't really compete against each other.

Do lots of internet searches and find various tests and comparisons. That always seems to help me out.

I'm currently riding a Bandit 650S and it has an inline four. I've ridden a thumper (single) and a few twins and I just love the four cylinders. To me there is no comparison.

I'm hearing from lots of people that the Daytona 675 triple is a totally awesome bike and beats all the other medium ss bikes. I've never ridden a triple but I have a feeling if I ever do, that would be it!

Just sitting on the bike can tell you quite a bit, but nothing beats taking them out for a spin. Some dealers allow you to ride the bike before you buy and that would be great. Maybe in your country, they have those 'ride-fests' where you can ride all the bikes one manufacturer makes? That would be cool.

Best of luck!

Jim
