i own an 05 gs500f paid $2600 in the fall. it has < 4000 miles as of today. also today i spotted an 01 katana 600 with 11000 miles. he suggested a weak $3000. seemingly should come down and after touring his gun shop i found a brand new mossberg 12 guage 18" barrel pistol grip pump action. $400

the dealer said hed sell both for $3100. should i sell mine for $3000 and do it¿?
a little history of both bikes.......
my 2005 gs500f has only one miniscule scratch only noticeable due to my obsessiveness. it has had two oil changes in the meak 3900 miles, once by me and the other by the first owner who obviously didnt drive it very much nor hard. valves adjusted and chain. the tires still have the little nubs. red, black, & silver. iv put 350 miles or so this winter since purchased in november.
the katana is a 2001, with 11,000 miles. all blue. im not sure of all the details but he said that it hasnot been wrecked.. but girl driven and dropped. there were 0 crack just sum medium scratches near drop guards

 

i believe it has led indicators right beside the taillight. i will check all the details tomorrow when i attempt a test drive...

my question is should i sell and buy ? a friend offered $3000 for mine today .

is the kat 600 much better? what details should i look for
