Default Power to size issue

I am 6’2” and I feel comfortable on a 750 or maybe a 1000..but I am a newbe so I obviously need a bike to start with and although the power issue is a serious one I also need to feel like I am actually riding a real bike in a dimensional way as well as a power way. To start I will buy used but I have ridden many bikes and liked the feel of the Suzuki 750. From what I understand to learn it is better to start with less power.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Hey man,
You answered your own question dude. Having a bike that is comfortable to your liking is one thing but starting on a bike that has some good power under you is another thing. I am 6 foot tall and I started at on honda 550f then worked my way up in life with buying a yzf 600r then to a 2005 gsxr 600. I like the 600 because its all the power i need in my area where I live...So if you need anything else just pm me..
