Hi guys,
i have just purchased a 550 ef 1985 with 24,000km...nice and clean and all original equipment..i have not had chance to ride it properly yet..seems to run fine..sometimes when i stopped it cut out. Probably was still cold..i was wandering if i should pull the carbs and rebuild and clean..as it may never have been done in 25 years..is there anything else i can do to improve the bike , while i have the tank and carbs off..besides plugs.....thanks brummie
