Hey everyone.

I am a Nissan guy, i have owned 4 nissans, 2 toyotas, and 2 chryslers in my driving history. i recently traded for my first Suzuki. it isnt exactly what i was looking for when i first starting considering a Suzuki but the price was definately right. i traded a $600 guitar for this:



it had a shorted wiring harness that i had to track down and fix, needed a battery, some new plugs, and tires. i also had to clean the carbs, which was a learning experience, and isnt quite done which is why i joining here.

i wanted a katana as a starter bike but this was cheaper in the long run. eventally i plan to commute 20 miles one way to work a couple days a week but that will likely wait till next summer.

after dismantling and cleaning the carbs i need to adjust the pilot circuit mix but i dont have an idle air jet visible. i have read that they were factory set on alot of 80s-90s bikes and then covered with a plate that needs to be drilled.

btw i am still alive despite what people posted. i got the bike running but it still needs a carb tune, but with snow on the ground it will wait till spring.
