Doe's 1990 vitara have interference head

Have just broken timing belt on recently purchased 1990 Vitara, ? damage potential?

if you havent started it yet, put a socket on the crankpulley bolt, and slowly..SLOWLY turn the engine over if it turns continuously, either youve gotten it right, or its not interfering
