Hello all, I'm Ace. I stumbled upon a 78 Suzuki GS750 last week, I wrote my number on a piece of paper, put it in a ziplock baggie and zip tied it to the handlebars. 3 days later I was called by the owner, set an appointment to meet up and talk about the bike and pretty much recieved the bike as a "if you can fix it, it's yours" type of scenario. Took half the bike apart yesterday to see why it wouldnt turn over or stay running from push start. Believed to need a decent carb clean due to bike sitting since june. So far gas tank, air box, seat, carbs, grips, electric start, ignition coils, battery, and taillight and cover are off the bike. Praying that i get it ready by the end of January or maybe even this week. I plan on trying to keep everyone informed and thank you all for letting me join this forum community. Will keep everyone updated on progress.
