I jumped in to this Forum via my SCR Drivers advice.......looking for info on a GSX-R engine we have that is bound for a Garden Tractor Puller. We know it's a GSX-R 750 by the prefix (R705) but am really interested in knowing the actual year of the engine. The hope to use the VIN number is not going to happen as the engine came from a bike shop we bought, it was sitting on a pallet & tagged "runs", which I might add it seems to run fine.
