Hello from Texas. I'm a new rider of a 1997 Suzuki Savage LS650 and I'm joining to learn more about maintaining the bike.

I've been having some issues and as much information as I've found online, I'm still unsure exactly what is going on since the technical terms are Greek to me. I don't know what anything is called and many of the photos in the manuals look like they were taken in the dark.

So I've been resorting to taking pictures and posting them to see if anyone recognizes what is going on. Hoping to learn a lot more about this bike in order to get it in better condition than when I bought it.
