I've been riding for about 30 years. I like all types of bikes, and my wife and I currently own 5 motorcycles. I joined this forum, because our "newest" addition to the collection is a 1976 GS 750! I've wanted one of these bikes since I was a kid.
One of my friends had the bike in his garage and I asked him if he would ever sell it. He told me that quite a few people have asked, but he didn't want to sell it to someone who would fix it and just turn around and sell it. He knows I love bikes, and I don't sell em, so he said if I promised to keep onto it, I could have it for $500!
The bike has 9,600 original miles, but she need A LOT of work.
It went through a minor flood about 10 years ago, will not start, and I'm just hoping the motor is not a giant rust ball.
I have a lot of tools, and access to a shop with every tool I would ever need.
I joined to hopefully learn where to start on this project.
